Emperor:
The Emperor is the symbol of Japan in which His power mainly lies in ceremonial duties. The Emperor is the Head of State and Imperial Family where His position never influence political activities the government take in any way.
Prime Minister
The government has three branches (1)Executive (2)Legislature (3)Judiciary. The Prime Minister is the head of the Government where he leads the Executive Branch and the Cabinet. The legislature nominates the Prime Minister for a 4year term where the responsibility lies on controlling and supervising the activities of the executive branch, as well as the head of Japan’s self-defense forces. The Prime Minister represents the bill to the legislature, signs laws and able to declare a state of emergency.
