◆ Australia’s LARGEST Japanese saké festival is returning to Sydney in 2019 ◆

The festival is just a few weeks away, where over 60 premium sakés will be featured. Tickets include unlimited tastings and a glass to taste from and keep.

✤ ABOUT ✤
After the success of last year’s inaugural event in Sydney, the festival is returning with varieties of saké brought in from Japan by Australia’s best importers.

This will be the perfect opportunity to taste and embrace both new and traditional styles of saké, from: Fine "Junmai Daiginjo" and "Namazake" to umami rich "Junmai", and flavorsome aged "Koshu nihonshu". All alongside awesome food and palate-cleansing Japanese beers.

◎ Ticket includes:
ALL saké tastings plus a stemless, crystal wine glass to taste from and keep.

◎ This festival runs over 2 sessions:
・[Day Session] 11:00am ~ 3:00pm
・[Evening Session] 4:00pm ~ 8:00pm

✤ SAKÉ BREWING ✤
Saké is made with 4 ingredients: [1] Rice [2] Water [3] Yeast [4] Koji-kin (spores of the fungus "aspergillus oryzae). As there are only 4 ingredients, each plays an integral part in the finished product. The process of brewing sake is very complex so, please see the event's home page for a simplified explanation or, make sure to chat with the importers at the venue for further explanation.
