Character Sweets by BANDAI

The Bandai Candy Division introduced "TABE-MASU", a Japanese confectionery series with their character as its motif using "Rilakkuma" and "Korirakkuma". The Japanese sweets "TABE-MASU Rilakkuma Halloween 2019" will be sold for 259yen each (Excl. Tax) at Lawson [Excl. Lawson Store 100] nationwide from Tuesday, October 15, 2019.

Both Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma in their halloween outfit is literally and figuratively sweet, it's so hard to decide where to take a bite♡

As its meaning "Tabemasu (I will be eating)" says, the cute face, lovely round eyes and all of its body parts are in fact edible using the Japanese sweets' delicate skill of "Nerikiri". The expression "tabe-masu" is an abbreviation for "Tabe-rareru[edible] Masu-cott [mascot]" and it expresses each of the character by using rice cake, sugar and rice flour. This new type of Japanese sweets not only shows the character's loveliness, but also the elaborate craftsmanship and deliciousness.
